 ARCHETUNES INSTRUCTIONS

Archetunes is a site developed just for YOU! It is a place where you can have fun, meet new friends, learn a lot about yourself and read stories with characters who have a lot of common with, guess who? YOU!

What makes this possible? The world of archetypes. You may have heard this word before, but in case you haven’t, I’ll explain it a bit for you.

Archetypes are main characters in life that appear again and again all over the world and have done so since the day of the caveman. They represent the stories these characters live whether they live in Canada or Europe or Asia or South America or the United States. Anywhere in the world.

Archetypes represent the “basic” stories that make us human. We live different archetypal stories at different times in our lives. What are you living now?

Who else is living the same story? That’s what this is all about.
How does this work? Here are a few steps for you to think about:

  1. Go to the questionnaire and find out a few things about yourself.
  2. Once you find out the archetypes you relate to, read the descriptions of those archetypes.
  3. Then learn a little bit about them. You can do this in 3 ways:
    1. Look at some of the movies with characters who have the same archetypes as you.
    2. Look at some of the art pictures that represent the archetypes that are the same as the ones you relate to.
    3. Listen to some of the songs that represent the archetypes that are the same as the ones you relate to.
  4. Select and read the stories whose characters are like you because they are the same archetype as you.
  5. Join a new kind of team. The team of people who share your archetype.

That’s the best part. Tweet about your archetype. You can do this at any level:

  • Once you know your own archetype. Read more
  • Once you find the movies whose characters share your own archetype. Read more
  • Or once you’ve examined the art representing the various archetypes.. Read more
  • Or once you’ve listened to the songs that share your archetype. Read more

Once you’ve read the stories whose characters are like you in many ways.

You can share your own stories. You can say whatever you like about what you are learning. You can ask questions of other people with similar archetypes. You might even want to write your own piece of fiction with a main character who is a lot like you!
